FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on February 1, 2012: SEBI

01 Feb 2012 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3459.70 crore against gross sell of Rs 2814.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 645.00 crore in equities on February 1, 2012.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 259.20 crore with gross sales of Rs 150.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 109.00 crore in debt on February 1, 2012.
