ACC has won the Gold Shield in the ‘ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting’ for the year 2013-14 based on its Annual Report for the year ended 31st December 2013. The award, instituted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, is the highest honour in this category in the country.
The company was adjudged under the Category V, Manufacturing Sector - (Turnover equal to or more than Rs. 500 crore) by an independent Jury.
In particular, the jury evaluated winners on the basis of degree of compliance with Accounting Standards, statutory guidelines and other relevant pronouncements. This is the second time in recent years that ACC has won the prestigious award, which is the highest bestowed on Annual Reports in the country.
