Dhanuka Agritech launches herbicide for sugarcane crop

Dhanuka Agritech has launched herbicide ‘SEMPRA’ to protect sugarcane crop from weeds. The new product would save cost of the farmers spent on manual weeding and water thereby cutting the cost by almost half.

The product of Japan-based Nissan Chemical Industries was being imported and a special packaging unit has been set up at Gurgaon. The use of new herbicide would increase production by 7% to 12%.

The company will soon make available this product across the country through a network of dealers and distributors. It would benefit farmers in states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
