Just in: WPI inflation ebbs to -0.39% in January

Way below street expectation, the annual rate of inflation, based on monthly wholesale price index (WPI), came at -0.39% in January as compared to 0.11% in December. Street was widely expecting the inflation to inch up to 0.15% for the month under review. Meanwhile, November inflation too has been revised downwards to -0.17% from 0% earlier.
