In a bid to set up integrated 700 MW wind turbine manufacturing facility in Gujarat, Inox Wind, a subsidiary of Gujarat Fluorochemicals has signed Rs 4,500 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government. The company has an order book of 1,258 MW as of December 31, 2014. The MoU will be implemented over next 2 years in 3 districts of Gujarat - Rajkot, Amreli and Kutch.
Gujarat Fluorochemicals, part of the $2 billion INOX group of companies, is engaged in manufacturing of chloro-fluorocarbon refrigerant gases and hydrous hydrofluoric acid. The INOX group has interests in areas of industrial gases, refrigerants, chemicals, carbon credits, cryogenic engineering, renewable energy and entertainment.
