National Fertilizers (NFL) has incorporated a Joint Venture Company (JVC) ‘Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals’ on February 17, 2015 with registered office at New Delhi. National Fertilizers, Engineers India (EIL) and Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCI) are promoters of the JVC.
NFL had earlier on January 14, 2015 signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) along with EIL and FCI for setting up new Ammonia and Urea Plants of 2200 MT per day and 3850 MT per day capacity respectively at the existing site of Ramagundam Fertilizer Plant in Karim Nagar district in state of Telangana. The above JVC has been incorporated with respect to the same.
National Fertilizers (NFL) incorporated in 1974 is second largest producer of Nitrogenous Fertilizers in the India commanding 16.5% of market share. The company started its operation by setting up two manufacturing Units at Bathinda and Panipat. NFL is public sector undertaking which is controlled by Department of Fertilizers in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers.
