Chambal Fertilisers zooms on plan to resume production of Urea by February end

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 69.70, up by 4.15 points or 6.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 65.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 65.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 69.90 and Rs. 65.50 respectively. So far 275219 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 71.00 on 17-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 36.10 on 25-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 69.90 and Rs. 60.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2817.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.77% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.00% and 23.23% respectively.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals’ one of Urea Plants located at Gadepan, Kota district in state of Rajasthan (Gadepan - I) has tripped on February 15, 2015 due to sudden failure of synthesis loop boiler. The plant is expected to resume production of Urea by end February 2015.

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals is one of the largest private sector fertilizer producers in India. It has three divisions catering agri products, shipping & textiles.
