RCF’s Q3 net tumbles 21%

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2011.

The company has posted a fall of 21.08% in its net profit of Rs 53.95 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 68.36 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 5.65% from Rs 1546.98 crore for Q3FY11 to Rs 1634.34 crore in the quarter under review.

RCF is one of the leading producers of fertilizers in India. Sujala, Suphala 15:15:15, Suphala 20:20:0, Ujjwala, Microla and Biola are its major fertilizer brands.
