Allcargo Logistics surges on reporting 26% growth in Q3 net profit

Allcargo Logistics is currently trading at Rs. 341.00, up by 0.90 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 340.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 344.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 349.90 and Rs. 341.00 respectively. So far 7240 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 357.90 on 17-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 133.00 on 16-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 354.40 and Rs. 310.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4344.87 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.18% and 23.90% respectively.

Allcargo Logistics has reported a 26 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 71.8 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 57crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s total income for the October-December quarter declined 5.61 per cent at Rs 1,443.3 crore as compared to Rs 1,529.1 crore in the same period a year ago.
