FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on February 2, 2012: SEBI

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5227.20 crore against gross sell of Rs 3134.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2092.70 crore in equities on February 2, 2012.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 319.80 crore with gross sales of Rs 287.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 32.30 crore in debt on February 2, 2012.
