The only major Asian market trading today was in green on Thursday, as Japanese stocks climbed to their highest level in nearly 15 years, as strong trade data for January and a weaker yen boosted exporters' shares. Most regional markets were closed including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan to mark the Lunar New Year. Moreover, investors also preferred to stay on the sidelines as they keep an eye on the Greek debt negotiations.
Nikkei 225 was up by 77.15 points or 0.42% to 18,276.32.
