Sanofi India declines on reporting marginal fall in Q4 net profit

Sanofi India is currently trading at Rs 3433.00, down by 34.05 points or 0.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 3467.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 3430.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 3524.45 and Rs 3425.00 respectively. So far 1540 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 3800.00 on 21-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2570.00 on 25-Feb-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 3600.00 and Rs 3450.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8005.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.40% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.07% and 10.53% respectively.

Sanofi India has registered a fall of 0.22% in its net profit at Rs 92.5 crore for fourth quarter ended December 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 92.7 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased 5.40% at Rs 527.1 crore for the ended December 31, 2014 as compared Rs 500.1 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the entire 2014 fiscal, the company’s net profit declined by 0.57% to Rs 263.7 crore from Rs 265.2 crore in the previous fiscal. However, total income of the company increased by 9.37% to Rs 2041.8 crore as compared to Rs 1866.8 crore in the previous year.
