Blue Star to set up eighth manufacturing plant in South India

Blue Star is planning to set up its eighth manufacturing plant in South India with an investment of Rs 150 crore. In this regard, the company is scouting for land to set up this plant which would have a capacity to manufacture five lakh units annually.

The company currently has seven manufacturing plants: two each in Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra, and one each in Uttarakhand, Bharuch (Gujarat) and the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Blue Star is India’s leading central air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration company fulfilling the cooling requirements and providing end-to-end solutions as a manufacturer, contractor and after-sales service provider to corporate, commercial, institutional and residential customers.
