Infosys gains on completing acquisition of Panaya

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 2200.75, up by 10.20 points or 0.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 2190.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2200.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2205.60 and Rs. 2163.30 respectively. So far 19850 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2335.20 on 20-Feb-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1447.00 on 30-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2313.50 and Rs. 2179.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 252893.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 13.08% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 56.86% and 14.31% respectively.

Infosys has completed the acquisition of Panaya, Inc., a leading provider of automation technology for large scale enterprise software management. The acquisition is in accordance with the terms set out in the agreement announced on February 16, 2015. This acquisition will further strengthen Infosys’ dual strategy of Renew and New by enhancing the competitiveness of its current service lines by leveraging automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
