Congress accuses Kejriwal of playing communal politics

13 Mar 2015 Evaluate

Former Congress legislator Asif Mohammad Khan accused that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of playing communal politics and claimed to have an audio tape in which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief has said that he committed a mistake by constituting the minority wing as Muslims would anyway vote for his party because they are afraid of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that have another sting of Arvind Kejriwal which they wanted to release today but they had to release it last night. That audio is being shown on various channels. Arvind Kejriwal used to say how his party is different from other parties, how they do not indulge in the politics of religion, caste and clan.

The Congress leader claimed that Kejriwal, who used to target other parties on this issue, is now caught in the same mess and added that they have a letter which was given to Arvind Kejriwal by a delegation of 19 people on November 25, this letter has the signature Irfanullah Khan, who is AAP minority wing's president, and also of Shahid Azad. The audio clip is in reply to this letter, he said that he has made a mistake by constituting minority wing of the party, Muslims will anyway vote for AAP because they are afraid of Narendra Modi. It is very sad that he took Muslims lightly. The former Congress legislator also cornered AAP leader Sanjay Singh.

Khan said that now they want to know about the conversation that took place between us and Sanjay Singh. They have the audio and video recording of it. He carried out the sting using my wrist watch. Meeting took place at an editor's place even Sanjay Singh agrees to and added that the issue is that whether he was in touch with the Congress, was he manipulating Congress MLAs. Circumstantial evidence makes it clear that it was true.
