Seamec rises on acquiring vessel ‘Revelation’ for $2.6 million

Seamec is currently trading at Rs. 87.15, up by 0.50 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 86.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 90.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 90.00 and Rs. 87.00 respectively. So far 6435 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 159.00 on 30-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 79.55 on 20-Mar-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 95.50 and Rs. 86.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 294.93 crore.

Seamec has acquired a vessel by name ‘Revelation’ having Belize flag at a price of $2.6 million. The vessel was taken over on March 19, 2015 at Singapore. With this acquisition, the company has entered into Bareboat Charter for deployment of the vessel for a period of 90 days with an option for extension for working in Malaysia offshore.

Seamec is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
