Asian markets are exhibiting mixed trend in the early deals on Friday, as rising tensions in the Middle East obscured the investment outlook, while the dollar rebounded. Meanwhile, the Japanese market trade lower despite of positive territory, as investors went on bargain hunting after the previous session's losses. Among other markets in the Asia-Pacific region, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia are also higher. Meanwhile, South Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan are lower.
Nikkei 225 contracted 61.97 points or 0.32% to 19,409.15, KOSPI Index declined 3.71 points or 0.18% to 2,018.85, Taiwan Weighted dipped 86.77 points or 0.90% to 9,532.35 and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI was down by 0.96 points or 0.05% to 1,817.46
On the flip side, Jakarta Composite rose 19.18 points or 0.36% to 5,387.98, Straits Times jumped 12.41 points or 0.36% to 3,444.00, Shanghai Composite added 10.90 points or 0.30% to 3,692.99 and Hang Seng was up by 4.90 points or 0.02% to 24,501.98.
