Prime Focus has completed the transaction to combine Reliance MediaWorks’ (RMW) global film and media services business with itself.
The transaction was first announced in July 2014 and received the Competition Commission of India’s (CCI) approval on 15 December 2014. As part of the transaction, the domestic and overseas operations of RMW’s film and media services business was combined with PFL through a slump sale.
Prime Focus is a global visual entertainment services group that provides creative and technical services to the film, broadcast, and advertising market. The group offers a genuine end-to-end solution from pre-production to final delivery including visual effects, 2D to 3D conversion, video and audio post production, equipment hire, multi-platform content operations solutions and digital distribution.
