Gujarat Gas Company has received approval to commence operations in Thane and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. GSPC Gas Company and Gujarat Gas Company (GGCL) received authorisation from the market regulator, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to set up the gas network in Union Territory (UT) Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Thane in Maharashtra.

Incepted in 1980, Gujarat Gas Company (GGCL) has since evolved to become one of India's largest players in distribution of Natural Gas. The company serves the entire range of the retail end of the gas value chain - Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
