HPCL buys commercial space worth Rs 100 crore in Mumbai: Report

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has reportedly purchased commercial space worth Rs 100 crore at Lower Parel in Mumbai. Separately, the company’s subsidiary Hindustan Colas has also entered into an agreement to acquire additional space in the same complex for Rs 20 crore.

Both the transactions are for a total of over 60,000 sq ft office space spread over 9th and 10th floors of the commercial complex Marathon Futurex for expansion and housing its specific functions, including audit, safety and marketing.

HPCL operates two major refineries producing a wide variety of petroleum fuels and specialties, one in Mumbai (west coast) of 6.5 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) capacity and the other in Vishakapatnam (east coast).
