Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has entered into an exclusive worldwide research and licence agreement for the development of novel anti-cancer drugs with the Technion-Israel institute of technology.
The joint project would be based on new findings by Nobel Prize laureate Professor Aaron Ciechanover, Gila Maor and Professor Ofer Binah. The research development comes weeks after Sun sealed its $4-billion deal to merge troubled drugmaker Ranbaxy.
