NMDC to raise output to 46 MT in current financial year

National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), State-run miner, is all set to raise its output to 46 million tonnes (MT) in the current financial year as two of its mines with 7 MT iron ore capacity each will contribute to the overall production.

Further, a mine of seven MT capacity has already started and another mine of seven MT will be starting in August and so this year production capacity will reach 46 MT from 32 MT.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
