Physical Rubber prices display mixed trend on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed a mixed trend on Tuesday on back of extremely low activities and lack of genuine buyers in the market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 119/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 118.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 112.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of May delivery improved to Rs 120.55 compared to its previous closing of Rs 120.21, while June delivery closed at Rs 123.38 compared to its previous close of Rs 122.50 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
