Sagar Cements shines as SBI Infrastruture Fund buys 5.65 lakh shares

Sagar Cements is currently trading at Rs. 361.00, up by 11.00 points or 3.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 350.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 345.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 370.00 and Rs. 345.10 respectively. So far 297 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 409.00 on 10-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 174.95 on 22-Apr-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 393.00 and Rs. 340.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 627.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.93% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.39% and 33.68% respectively.

SBI Infrastruture Fund Series I has bought 5,65,862 shares of  Sagar Cements at Rs 350 on the BSE and Magnum Multicap Fund has bought 2,00,000 shares at Rs 350. However, Magnum Sector Funds Umbrella EBF has sold 7,65,862 shares at Rs 350.

Sagar Cements is one of the most modern mini cement plants in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The plant is based on Dry Process Rotary Kiln Technology that is used in ‘Standard Quality' cement companies.
