The unseasonal rainfall has affected the grapes export business of Freshtrop Fruits. The total exports of grapes for the season would be 30 to 35% less than last year but there is a significant improvement in the selling price. The unseasonal rainfall will not have any significant effect on the profit of the Company for 2014-15. The effect will be there in Q1 of 2015-16 but this could be mitigated by better price realization.

Freshtrop Fruits is engaged in the business of exports of fresh fruits and vegetables to leading supermarket chains in various parts of Europe. The company is dealing in fresh fruits like grapes, pomegranates and mangoes.
