SKS Microfinance issues Commercial Papers worth Rs 40 crore

SKS Microfinance has issued Commercial Papers of an aggregate amount of Rs 40 crore on April 30, 2015, which has been rated ‘A1+’ by a leading rating agency . Instruments with the aforesaid rating are considered to have a very strong degree of safety regarding timely payment of financial obligations. Such instruments carry lowest credit risk. The aggregate Commercial Paper outstanding as on date is Rs 440 crore.

SKS Microfinance is a non-banking finance company (NBFC), registered and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, whose mission is to provide financial services to low-income households. SKS operates across 16 states of India.
