Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentarians to inform people in their constituencies about the progress of the projects that they had undertaken since the NDA regime had come to power. Addressing a BJP Parliamentary party meeting, PM Modi said the Centre is serious about bringing back black money stashed in bank accounts abroad and added that the government has introduced a stringent bill in Parliament to counter the flow of black money into and out of the country.

The Lok Sabha has passed Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets (Imposition of Tax) Bill on Monday, which seeks to take penal action against the concealment of foreign income. Commenting on the matter, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the government's fight is against those spreading corruption and not with the opposition.

The BJP Parliamentary Party appreciated the initiatives taken by the government in the last one year and adopted a resolution to help ensure social security for the poor and vulnerable sections of society. It will also seek to set in motion a comprehensive strategy for inclusive and rapid economic development. The parliamentary party also lauded PM Modi for arresting the drift by infusing a sense of purpose and providing transparent and accountable governance. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said there has not been even a single instance of corruption or irregularity since the BJP assumed power a year back.
