The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2591.60 crore against gross sell of Rs 1944.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 647.60 crore in equities on February 14, 2012.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 288.20 crore with gross sales of Rs 479.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 191.70 crore in debt on February 14, 2012.
