Asian Oilfield Services has been awarded contract for '3D Seismic Data Acquisition services at Baramura Bulge, Tripura, part of the Assam & Assam Arakan Basin, in the North East of India, by ONGC, Jorhat.
Asian is a leading seismic contractor and has considerable experience into this type of work. Further, mobilization for this contract is expected to be completed by October 1, 2015. The entire data acquisition is to be completed by the end of Field Season 2015-2016, which is the fair-weather window normally available for data acquisition between October 2015 and July 2016.
