Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,23,342.60 crore on May 18 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 98,86,316.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 14,020.06 crore, Stock Futures Rs 20,871.22 crore and Index Options Rs 1,78,353.13 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 10,098.18 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 1.05, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.09 and that of Stock Options was 0.53.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Eicher Motors (2.01), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (1.51), Hero MotoCorp (1.45), Adani Enterprises (1.45) and Union Bank of India (1.44).
Among most active underlying, Asian Paints witnessed an addition of 0.66 million of Open Interest in the May month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing an addition of 1.57 million of Open Interest in the May month contract; Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 1.28 million of Open Interest in the May month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 0.15 million of Open Interest in the May month contract and Adani Enterprises witnessed an addition of 0.37 million of Open Interest in the May month's future contract.
