According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1696.24 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Tuesday’s data, May 19, 2015.
FIIs were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 647.79 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1048.45 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 327.18 crore, while they sold stock options worth Rs 66.28 crore.
