Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation (SPIC) has resumed production from its plant located at Tuticorin in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The company had earlier commenced startup activities at urea plant with effect from January 7, 2015. The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, Government of India has informed that the company would be allowed to produce Urea using feed stock Naphtha for a period of 100 days from the date of notification.
Southern Petrochemical Industry Corporation since its founding has been providing product and services that feed, nourish, and protect the agriculture and rural ecosystem. The company is now a well diversified one with area of businesses spreading from fertilizers to pharma.
