Diamond Power Infrastructure bags order worth Rs 78 crore

Diamond Power Infrastructure, one of India’s leading power equipment manufacturers and EPC contractors, has bagged an order worth Rs 78 crore to supply tower materials for 400 KV Quad and Twin lines aggregating 13,531 MT to be supplied over the next 6 months. Further, the company had set up a modern plant to produce transmission towers aggregating 48,000 MT per annum.

Recently, Diamond Power Infrastructure had commissioned India’s first extra high voltage (EHV) cables plant to manufacture 500KV cables. The extra high voltage cables plant, first of its kind in India was supplied by Mallifer France. Globally there are seven manufacturers having capabilities of making power cables upto 500KV.

Diamond Power Infrastructure is engaged in the manufacture of various types of aluminium conductors, low-tension (LT) and high-tension (HT) power cables, transmission towers and transformers (through its subsidiaries). This makes the company one of the largest integrated power transmission and distribution (T&D) equipment manufacturers and service providers.
