Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,82,165.72 crore on May 22 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,17,57,870.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 18,109.38 crore, Stock Futures Rs 35,226.01 crore and Index Options Rs 2,09,316.61 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 19,513.72 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 1.15 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.21 and that of Stock Options was 0.55.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Bajaj-Auto (2.96), Voltas (1.79), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (1.77), Adani Enterprises (1.68) and Eicher Motors (1.46).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 9.24 million of Open Interest in the May month futures contract, followed by ITC witnessing an addition of 0.21 million of Open Interest in the May month contract; Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries witnessed a contraction of 1.64 million of Open Interest in the May month contract, Voltas witnessed an addition of 1.82 million of Open Interest in the May month contract and Axis Bank witnessed a contraction of 1.82 million of Open Interest in the May month's future contract.
