GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals has reported results for fourth quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company has posted a rise of 18.18% in its net profit at Rs 136.74 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 115.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 15.35% at Rs 577.60 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 500.72 crore year ago.
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals is one oldest pharmaceutical company in India. Internationally it has created many brands such as Ribena, Horlicks, Lucozade, Aquafresh, Sensodyne, Panadol, Tums and Zovirax, among others. It employs 5,000 people and has turnover of more than $1 billion in India.
