Bharat Electronics has reported results for the year ended March 31, 2011.
The company has registered a surge of 33.38% in its net profit for FY11 at Rs 961.47 crore as compared to Rs 720.87 crore for FY10. Total income has increased 5.47% at Rs 5861.05 crore for the year from Rs 5556.85 crore in previous year.
On consolidated basis, the group’s net profit for the year has rose 19.06% at Rs 877.84 crore as compared to Rs 737.31 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. Total Income for the year has decreased by 4.79% at 6022.64 crore as compared to Rs 5747.59 crore for the previous year.
Bharat Electronics has recommended a final dividend of 156% or Rs 15.60 per equity share of Rs 10 each in addition to the Interim Dividend of 60% or Rs 6 per equity share of Rs 10 each paid in February, 2011.
