Goldman Sachs India Fund buys 8 lakh shares of Dalmia Bharat

Goldman Sachs India Fund has bought 8 lakh shares of Dalmia Bharat through open market route. The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 640 valuing the transaction to Rs 51.20 crore.

On the other hand, Route One Fund I LP has sold 7.94 lakh shares of the company for an average price of Rs 640 through open market route.

Dalmia Bharat is a cement manufacturer with plants in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of nine million tonnes per annum. The company is engaged in the business of cement, thermal power & other businesses.
