Gujarat Natural Resources’ arm transfers well TS - 8 to North Kathana PSC

Heramec, a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Gujarat Natural Resources (GNRL) has transferred well TS-8 (Tarapur South-8) to North Kathana PSC as per the latest confirmations received from Director General of Hydrocarbons, Petroleum Ministry, Govt of India. Well has a proven discovery at Olpad/fractured trap level.

The company plans to establish commerciality of the discovery made at Olpad /fractured trap to arrive at a plausible delineation plan. This discovery could prove to be the precursor towards further development of North Kathana PSC and positive revenue inflow in terms of improved rates of production.

GNRL is having producing assets located in the petroliferous Cambay Basin with readily available evacuation infrastructure. It has a portfolio of 6 producing assets currently producing 46 BOPD of oil and 0.67 MMSCFD of gas (Net to the company) - 140 BOEPD net to the company.
