Mobile Tele surges on inking MoU to form Joint Venture Company

Mobile Tele Communications is currently trading at Rs. 3.04, up by 0.05 points or 1.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 2.99 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3.15 and Rs. 2.90 respectively. So far 5178 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6.88 on 09-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.55 on 20-Apr-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3.80 and Rs. 2.91 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.88% while Non-Institutions held 48.12% stake in the company.

Mobile Telecommunications (Mobile Tele), Sunfair Electric Wire & Cable (HK) Company (Sunfair) and SW Venture Capital Fund Management (SW Venture) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to form a joint venture company to be known as MTL Electric Wire and Cable.

Mobile Tele will hold 51% stake in MTL Electric Wire and Cable, pursuant to which MTL Electric Wire and Cable will be a subsidiary of Mobile Telecommunications.

Mobile Tele will provide the infrastructure at its Nasik Factory for the purpose of its joint venture operations while Sunfair (HK) will provide the Machineries and Technical know-how. SW Ventures will infuse the required working capital.
