Physical rubber prices moved slightly higher on Monday in a thin trading session, while the National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) was closed owing to Mahashivratri the trade remained scattered in the spot markets.
The spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 184.50/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 184.00/kg; while the RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 181/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs180/kg.
