FIIs net buyers of Rs 3343.18 crore in futures and options segments on June 29

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 3343.18 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, June 29, 2011.

FII’s were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 728.28 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 2662.46 crore. In the stocks segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 52.28 crore and they bought stock options to the tune of Rs 4.72 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 29, 2011 is 32.81%.
