The Bharatiya Janata Party took a dig at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav for challenging the saffron party to announce their chief ministerial candidate for the forthcoming Bihar polls. BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said that Lalu ji was unable to become chief minister himself and he is asking the BJP to name its chief ministerial candidate. Lalu ji should not be worried about who will be BJP chief minister (candidate) and he added that the people of Bihar are great. They will not let 'jungle raj-2' come back again. There is no doubt that BJP will from the next government.

Lalu had on Tuesday said that he would even drink poison to stop the BJP from coming to power in Bihar. He said that if he will have to drink poison to remove BJP, he can do so. If BJP has the guts, they should also declare their chief ministerial candidate. They don't have the guts to do so. Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav had earlier confirmed that Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar would be the Janata Parivar's chief ministerial candidate for the Bihar Assembly polls, scheduled to take place later this year.
