Fake degree drama: Tomar's interim bail plea rejected

Former Delhi law minister Jitender Singh Tomar's interim bail plea was rejected by a city court on till the pendency of his application for regular bail. The court also rejected Tomar's plea challenging his police remand in the fake degree case.

On Tuesday, a city court had sent Jitendra Singh Tomar to four-day's police custody after being arrested in connection with the alleged fake degree case. The court also directed the Delhi Police to procure the necessary documents during this time-frame. Tomar is facing allegations of submitting forged education certificates while filing his nomination for the Delhi Assembly polls.
