Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has received US health regulator’s nod for generic Rivastigmine capsules and Felodipine extended release tablets aimed at treating mild to moderate dementia and hypertension, respectively.The company has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for the Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Rivastigmine capsules in 1.5 mg, 3 mg, 4.5 mg, 6 mg strengths and Felodipine extended - release tablets in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg strengths.
