National Fertilizers surges on resuming production at Bhatinda Plant

National Fertilizers is currently trading at Rs. 25.70, up by 0.30 points or 1.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 25.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 26.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 26.00 and Rs. 25.70 respectively. So far 298 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 47.20 on 08-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 23.60 on 04-Jun-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 26.90 and Rs. 23.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1246.07 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.71% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.99% and 4.30% respectively.

National Fertilizers has resumed production at its Bhatinda Plant with effect from June 07, 2015 after completion of shutdown. The company’s Bathinda Unit was under annual shutdown from May 11, 2015 for a period of 30-35 days.

National Fertilizers (NFL) is second largest producer of Nitrogenous Fertilizers in the India. NFL is public sector undertaking which is controlled by Department of Fertilizers in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers.
