According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 707.43 crore in futures and options segments on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 55.41 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 282.62 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 351.19 crore and they also sold stock options worth Rs 18.21 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on February 21, 2012 is 32.92%.
