The Exchange had sought clarification from TV18 Broadcast with respect to news article appearing on Business Standard website on June 23, 2015 titled ‘Fire at CNBC-TV18s Lower Parel office in Mumbai’. TV18 Broadcast replied stating that this is to confirm that a fire broke out at the Empire Mills Complex office of TV18 Broadcast at Mumbai, around 3.20 PM on Tuesday 23rd June. The fire was confined to a small portion of the building which houses the stores. The fire was speedily brought under control with company fire safety measures and was later tended to by the Mumbai Fire Department. No person was injured and there was no material damage caused. Normal business was resume within an hour of the incidence.
