FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on February 22, 2012: SEBI

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4093.70 crore against gross sell of Rs 2599.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1494.60 crore in equities on February 22, 2012.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 397.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 337.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 59.10 crore in debt on February 22, 2012.
