The awards, a unique initiative by the French Ambassador, served to honour excellence in promotion of France by travel companies in India and showcase a series of positive developments (including facilitation via the 48 visa service and expansion of visa centres) that resulted in a 60% increase in visa issuance by French Consulates in India between January-May, 2015.
