FIIs stood as net buyers in equities on February 23, 2012: SEBI

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4024.00 crore against gross sell of Rs 3057.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 966.90 crore in equities on February 23, 2012.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 805.00 crore with gross sales of Rs 381.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 423.00 crore in debt on February 23, 2012.
